We report the case of a 14-year-old adolescent with chronic constipation, short stature, and severe anemia who presented with self-limited gastrointestinal bleeding. Imaging revealed megacolon and sigmoid colonic stricture. Colonoscopy confirmed the stenosis, and rectal biopsy showed absence of ganglion cells in the submucosal plexus, consistent with Hirschsprung’s disease. After stabilization, the patient underwent a primary laparoscopic pull-through (Georgeson technique) with resection of the aganglionic segment and transanal Soave anastomosis. Postoperative recovery was uneventful, with good continence and no episodes of enterocolitis at two-year follow-up. This case highlights late presentation of Hirschsprung’s disease and its association with uncommon complications such as colonic stricture secondary to stercoral colitis.
